The Bournemouth Eye tethered balloon attraction provides spectacular views of Bournemouth & the surrounding coastline. Open from Easter until 1st October - Opening times are 9:00 am until late, every evening.

Bournemouth Pier

The pier has a history going back to 1856. Today you will find an 'end of pier theatre', amusement arcades, boat trips & other attractions. Bournemouth also has a sister pier a short way along the coast at Boscombe.

Simulator: Bournemouth Pier Approach.
Take a thrill ride on the Wave 105 Simulator. Chose from a selection of visually and physically stimulating rides from racing cars, aeroplanes or roller coasters. They are all expertly programmed to imitate the real thing using the latest in-flight simulation technology,with digital images and surround sound.

Bournemouth & Boscombe Cliff Railways

The historic electric cliff railway was opened in 1908. The cliff lifts operate from the East & West Cliffs in Bournemouth. A further lift was added at Fishermans Walk, Boscombe in 1935. The original wooden bodies, had aluminium replacements fitted in the 1960s. Open between April & October.

Bournemouth Land Train: Operates 10-4pm at weekends.
Once you arrive at Bournemouth Seafront, getting around couldn't be easier - just hop onto one of the colourful land trains and relax as you are whisked along the promenade between Bournemouth and Boscombe Piers and between Bournemouth Pier and Alum Chine.

The tank was a British invention that changed warfare for ever when it was introduced in World War One. See almost 200 of these rare and historic vehicles on display in 6 large halls. You will come face-to-face with tanks that have seen action in all the major wars of the 20th century. The Tank Museum is the museum of the Royal Tank Regiment & Royal Armoured Corps.

Beer has been brewed in Ringwood for centuries, but it was not until 1978 that the present Ringwood Brewery was founded by the pioneering Peter Austin, widely regarded as a founding father of the British micro-brewing industry. The Brewery also has a Brewery Store on site selling a full range of its beers. Daytime Tour are available on Saturdays at 12pm, 2pm & 4pm. All tours take approximately 2 hours.
