Open to visitors for £3pp per session. Hire of shoes and lawn green bowls available at £2 additional cost. New members welcome. Season runs from late April until October. Short Mat Bowls played in the clubhouse out of season.

Milford on Sea Youth Football Club: Home matches played at Ballard School.

The Club was founded in 2002 and run by volunteers with a remit to provide football opportunities for both boys and girls between the age of 5 & 16. The club also plays Mini-soccer, which is for children between 6 and 10, & is quite different from adult football, with modified rules and the emphasis on fun and participation.

Milford on Sea Cricket Club:  'The Rec', Barnes Lane, Milford on Sea.

The club plays on a picturesque ground set at the top of the village. Otherwise known as Milford on Sea recreation ground, where the cricket club have exclusive rights for the summer. The club also has an active social bar. Whether a new player or spectator, all are welcome.

Founded in 1897, the club is situated on the coastal cliff between Highcliffe and Milford on Sea. The current 27 holes are a combination of the original Harry Colt design from 1932 and the newer holes designed by the well-known J. Hamilton Stutt in 1992. The clubhouse has superb views across the Solent to the Needles on the Isle of Wight, along to Old Harry Rocks at Swanage & is situated overlooking the lake and an Island green.

The Club was founded by Captain G.J.F. Adams in 1928. The Club's fleet of Support Boats consists of four RIBs and one diesel engine launch. The overall membership of the Club is approximately 1500. Between them, Members sail some 585 boats of different classes consisting of 154 Scows, 17 Wayfarers, 16 Lasers, 35 Cruisers, 28 Cadets, 28 Mirrors and 265 other sailng craft.

Hurst Castle Sailing Club is a small but lively and friendly club where the emphasis is on enjoyment rather than competition. The Club caters for both Dinghy and Yacht sailors. There are over forty cruising members of the club. The most common dinghy sailed is the Scow. There are also Mirrors, Wayfarers & a variety of other dinghies, including Gulls, Skippers, Wanderers & Lasers. Visitors are welcome to see and hear more about the facilities and activities at the club coffee mornings at 10:30 on Tuesdays.

Milford on Sea Youth Club: Club House in Sea Road Car Park.

The club meets on a Tuesday evening from 6.30pm until 8.30pm. Members have to be 12 years or older, most of the members are aged from 12-14. Games and activities are organised but the main object is just for us all to meet up and have fun. Youth Band Nights: A chance for young people to perform in front of a live audience - occasional Saturday evenings 7.30 to 9.30pm.

Milford and Keyhaven Sea Scouts is a thriving small group offering adventurous activities to boys and girls aged between 6-18 years. Units include the Beavers for 6 to 8 year olds, Cubs for 8 to 10 year olds, & Sea Scouts for 10 to 14 year olds. There is also an Explorer Unit for 14 to 18 year-olds.

The Friends of Hurst Castle: Tel: 01590 642344 | Formed in 1986 to act as a support group to a local site belonging to English Heritage. The Friends’ aim is to support in any way they can: - financially with any project, to enhance the building, & to assist educationally and in any research that they can. They arrange social events and from time to time newsletters for members. Hurst Castle Ferries offer a 10% discount to Members when buying season tickets and free passage to any Friends who are going to work at the Castle.
